🛒 Ingredients (4 servings)
🍤 Shrimp (peeled & deveined, tails off) – 500 g (1 lb)
🍅 Ripe tomatoes – 4 large (or 1 can crushed tomatoes, 400 g)
🌶️ Red bell peppers – 2, roasted & peeled
🧅 Onion – 1 medium, finely chopped
🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
🥕 Carrot – 1 medium, diced
🥬 Celery – 1 stalk, diced
🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
🫒 Olive oil – 2 tbsp
🍷 White wine – 120 ml (½ cup)
🦞 Seafood or shrimp stock – 750 ml (3 cups)
🥛 Heavy cream – 200 ml (¾ cup)
🌿 Fresh thyme – 1 sprig
🌿 Bay leaf – 1
🧂 Salt & black pepper – to taste
🌶️ Smoked paprika – 1 tsp
🌿 Fresh parsley – chopped (for garnish)
